Keyboard Shortcuts are to most people as an extra Porshe is in the Driveway. Some people want to utilize them but can’t and others could but say “Why Should I?”

I know that analogy is VERY thin so let me just get to the actual topic of the day……

Today is Internet Shortcuts,
Try these this week! If you can learn them as I post them you will have learned a ton in no time. If the keyboard scares you and you can barely get by with hunting and pecking your way through the day, try the Speech Recognition software that came with your computer. Vista has it built in under the Control Panel.  XP has this article on how to access this great service from you XP PC. This is a great tool to utilize if you hate to type or just don’t want to learn the “right” way.

Anyway,
Here is the deal with shortcuts. THEY SAVE YOU TIME. It takes you a few extra seconds to move your hand to the mouse, move it, click the button you want then move your hand back to the keyboard. these seconds add up and end up being minutes and eventually hours. I probably save up to 3 hrs a week in computer time because of shortcuts…. this is no joke.

Here are a few for the Internet:
Have Fun!
